Without Home: This short film take an inside look at the homeless population in NYC. The homeless population increases in number everyday. It is very easy to turn a blind eye to this by passing them on the street. There are a multitude of reasons why people become homeless; homelessness does not equate using drugs. Some homeless people face mental health issues that prevent them from working. When you're homeless, the public eye is always on you; you're always on stage when homeless. There must be a solution for this escalating problem. Director/Actor notes: The character development for this role has taken me into the mindset of what homeless people have to deal with on a longterm bases. I've my on homeless experience that led me to initially do this film. This role and short film has the longest lasting impact on my roles thus far. Sleeping in the street, train stations, and airports has given me more insight than originally expected. I've decided to have no actual lines for this character. I'd like for the facial expressions, body movements, and tone paint the portrait in your mind of the homeless struggle. Thanks for watching.
