Watch It's Hard to be a Tern

In 1989 Dr. Lee Harper began a program to restore the Common Tern to the St Lawrence River region. Working up and down the length of the River that borders the US and Canada, Harper and his team have more than doubled the population of this endangered species. Windmills, people and predators threaten the Terns existence and that's not all. After 30 years of hard work in 2019 Funding threatens the program. This short documentary takes you from birth to flight and tells the story of the Terns flight for life.
