Watch A Simple Question

As a teacher, you walk by the American flag everyday as you're headed into class. And when the door closes, you know you're going to be asked a lot of questions because kids, want to know the truth and sometimes that means you'll be asked questions that you're not even sure you'll know how to answer. Like what is the meaning of life? Or will I really use the Pythagorean theorem after I graduate? So recently when a student raised his hand in class, I expected him to ask one of those difficult questions that I could answer by quoting someone else. He stood up at his desk and asked: Do black lives matter?
